The BCO makes its Meyerhoff Symphony Hall debut with a special performance that celebrates the gritty creativity and historic charm that defines the city’s unquenchable spirit. The concert kicks off with Baltimore-born Frank Zappa’s G-Spot Tornado, followed by Baltimore native Karena Ingram’s mesmerizing Animals of the Solstice: Calm of the Equinox. Renowned Canadian cellist Bryan Cheng performs Mason Bates’ Cello Concerto, before Maestro Moody leads the orchestra in Beethoven’s triumphant Symphony No. 7.
